Is college similar to high school?

Not in the least.  All of the drama you had in high school is petty and irrelevant.  Depending on whether you attend a large or small university, some of your classes could include hundreds of people.  If you join a sorority or fraternity, there may be more drama, but even then, it's not like high school.

Not really. No one judges you for where you get your clothes from. They do make fun of you however, for being a virgin. It's funny how the same liberals who make fun of virginity are the same people who preach a woman has the right to control her body. I love liberal hypocrisy.

Nope. College students have to work on assignments, papers, quizzes, and tests just like high school students do. You may have a greater degree of independence as a college student but when it comes down to academics and hard work, you will find that college is not much more different than high school.

My high school and college experiences were in no way similar, even though I attended high school on a college campus. 

Most of the "problem kids" in high school don't go to college.  When combined with the students being older and more mature, that makes the atmosphere in college very different.  

At my college, about half the students lived on campus while the rest were commuters.  While the resident students loved the college, the commuters were much more emotionally attached to their old high school.  With a few exceptions, the commuters vanished after 1:00 PM classes ended.  

The biggest difference is you are not stuck in the same building all day long with the same students.   Students schedules are all different and vary greatly. The same drama doesn’t build up. 

Not in terms of the drama. People are more mature. And you don't spend all day with the same group. You're in classes with different people and in dorms with other people. For nostalgia, yes. I'd say more people look back fondly on their college experience than high school. High school is horrible- all those teen hormones that no one knows how to handle!
