How often do I need to take the Covid vaccine to stay safe?

No one really knows how long it is effecive.

We do not yet know. The main focus has on been developing a vaccine. Ongoing research and data from those vaccinated will enable us to determine for how long the virus provides protection.

The effectiveness of the vaccine and the prevalence of the virus will determine whether we will need to have boosters. There has been talk of it becoming part of an annual cycle like the vaccine against influenza.

Unknown, they have data that shows it is effective for 6 months but as more time passes we may find it is effective for longer.

But like the flu, we may need vaccines each year to deal with variants.

Looks like its going to be a yearly thing, like the flu shot.

Reports of lasting 6 months becomes ineffective and CDC wants to stop  the J& J brand due to blood clotting in 6 people.  I know this will upset you sheep, but I have no plans on getting the covid flu shot.  I worked all through this so called killer covid flu pandemic.  Ive seen more cases than any of you people have because you choose to live in fear and listen to your state government.  FYI...there are allot more people in the medical field and first responders who feel the same way.  Its just we are not allowed to speak because of the democrat government or liberal news media  has their own agenda  

Not yet known.  The vaccine is new enough that no one knows how long it will remain effective in people. There was not enough time to know the long term effects or the longevity of the vaccine.  The need to stop the pandemic did not allow for three to five years of testing to get answers to this question.

Plus we do not know how quickly the virus may mutate into a form that the current vaccine is not effective against.  

At this time, there are no guidelines on how often - if ever - you should renew your vaccine. 

Too early to know; maybe yearly.......
