How do you know if you are texting to a chat bot?

It used to be a Nigerian prince who needed a bank account number, or a girl that needed money to come visit you after a few emails.  But now on facebook, how do you know if the latest person you made friends with from a group isn't a chat bot?

If they Respond pretty quickly that's one way of knowing that you could be talking to a Bot usually when you Send a Message if they are a Bot they will Respond almost Instantly Really fast in the Matter of Seconds
