Why does my Suzuki gsxr 1000 k2 run rough (it has a spark on all 4 but the plugs are a tad wet & has strong petrol smell)?

My 1000 k2 has just came out motorbike workshop having had a 29 point winter check and fluid top up and seemed to simply be ticking over a bit high on idle(1400rpm-1500 when warmed)

Update:

im surprised garage found no pointers 2 an impending issue tho im not so sure theyre responsible(maybe they knocked a pipe or wire loose) initially they gave my bike a thumbs up after checking it out after I purchased it 6 weeks ago. Ive only done about 15 miles on it since(40 total)

It started playing up soon after id left a petrol station(I put BP super 97 fuel in)

I travelled about 1 mile to a friends house after pulling up instead of hovering around the idle it cuts out now it wont start!

Update 2:

The 29 point winter checks just standard stuff plus a 4 mile test ride.

Im gonna have a go at finding the issue l8tr this evening so how should I check for the issue as I believe the usual procedure is now check for fuel issues since ive already checked its got sparks at all 4 plugsi will check air filter when im with the bike

Take it back to the shop.  Load it up on a pickup truck and bring it back and say it runs like schit.

. They did not tune it up.  I am thinking plugs are shot.

That is how I winterize my bike. I park it. Done. Let it snow.  Come warm weather and it starts and runs just fine.

Tune up could be an extra charge.

    Rode for 15 years.

What exactly was done on the "29 point winter check"?   Engine is running rich.   Injectors could be leaking.  Check for a clogged air filter and a bad O2 sensor.

take it back to that shop right away. Whatever it is they did it. No charge if its their fault.
