Is the process of adopting kids significantly more difficult than pregnancy?

People always say "but adopting is too difficult!", but like, so is pregnancy? You become a baby factory for 9.5 months. Is the adoption process longer and more arduous than that?

Adopting is much, much more difficult, and for good reason.  In fact, only about 10% of people that look to adopt actually get placed with a child!

There are no financial, educational, ethical, legal or moral requirements to become pregnant, whereas there are for adoption. So adoption is harder. However, it is impossible for men to become pregnant, but they can adopt. So adoption is easier.

Two very different things. Adopting is a process from which one can withdraw at any time. Unlike pregnancy. Pregnancy has far more physical issues, obviously.
