How come Tango and Cash did not get sequels like Lethal Weapon did or a video game?

True, I think Stallone's character was too cheesy and goody good, but Tango and Cash had way more action.
Maybe it did not do as good in the box office?
I like Kurt Russell, but he seemed a little too full of himself in that movie like playing himself after overboard.

Well Lethal Weapon was nearly twice as good.
