Do you think history will look back on Trump's time as President and think 'how the **** did that happen?!!'?

History looks back at how Hitler happened. Trump occurred the same way. He's the epitome of a cult leader. His charisma delivers words people so dearly want to believe true, it doesn't matter how false they are at the time. And even when the contrary truth begins to surface, the cultists will refuse to believe they voted for a mistake because they have to hold themself accountable too.

History will wonder how a Populist managed to make his way into become the leader of an Establishment "owned" party, and then get voted in by the public despite the incessant and blatant Establishment media denigration of his person (not his policies) 24/7.
You better believe that another Populist will not ever become leader in the Republican party as the Establishment owners $$$ get changes made to ensure that never happens again. The problem was solved long ago in the Democrat party. Note how Sanders (a left wing Populist) has never stood a chance.

It will be just as much a lesson for Democrats they can't throw an unpopular if experienced woman\black and expect it'll be in the bag.
People will be remembering the failed calling, too.
"History will wonder" Anonymous, Trump won the WH partly because the media gave him about a $ bn in free media coverage more than Hillary Clinton, if they were giving him free airtime just because he was a crappy celebrity or in order to mock his candidacy I wonder how constructive that was. Some of the remarks about his successful campaigns to be leader and then President were frankly seriously unfair.
Don't think another populist doesn't stand a chance. It can happen again. It might.
