If you liked a shy guy would you approach ?

I don't like guys like that so I wont approach. But if you got more guts than him, I don't see why you shouldn't approach him. I think girls should start doing the asking out too. I mean if you want equal rights as the man, you should start pulling your weights too instead of letting the guy do all the work. Anyways, yeah, you should approach him but see if he really likes you or not. Like what's his/her face Anonymous said. If a guy really likes you, he wont let you slip away. Especially if you two are going out on dates.

No guy, no matter how shy, will let a girl slip through his fingers if he's really interested in her.

Apart from that, he would have to have deep emotional issues and low self esteem....if this is the case, why would you want this man.  He would need serious counselling, not you. 

I think that when dating a shy guy you need to go out of your way to make them feel comfortable and to help them relax. Basically, you need to take the lead on a date when it comes to making conversation. This means asking him open-ended questions that will get him to reveal his personality. The other thing that you can do is to give him compliments in order to boost his confidence. Remember, guys like to be made to feel that they are doing a good job when it comes to pleasing women. Hence, if you can come across as having fun on the date then that will go along way towards making him relax. The last thing to consider is that nervousness is something that can be overcome in time; the more a guy sees you and get to know you, the more comfortable he will become.
