Why do some people believe the world is flat?

Flat Earthers like me believe the Earth is flat for only one reason.  That reason is to force people to use their brain and logic to prove it is round.  Otherwise saying the Earth is round is nothing but faith.  Faith is religion.  Faith is NOT science.  Get it?

There will always be those who want to be different that the general mass. If the world was flat, then we would have to go over an edge somewhere to get to the other side. No one has of yet and people go to the other side of the world every day.

Because they know people who have disappeared; literally fallen off the face of the Earth.

You can't fall off the face of the Earth if the Earth is round.

I suppose you want some proof of this?

Well, have you ever talked to anyone who fell off the face of the Earth?

No, and the reason is obvious; they fell off the face of the Earth.

Why do people NOT believe in GOD?

It's for the same reason.

They can't see it for themselves so they say it's a myth.

Yet if you tell the same fools they were once fish, they buy it hook line and sinker without question

When people ludicrously claim the Earth is flat they are not talking about its topography. They accept it has hills and mountains. What they are claiming is that it is not what it really is, namely a sphere.

Hurricanes can only form on a spinning globe.

Are you trying to suggest we don't live on a flat disc, perched upon the backs of Great A'Tuin and The Elephants Four?
