How do I tell my son I got rid of his xbox?

My son has been playing his xbox too much, and I've recently got rid of it. I don't know what to tell him when he gets back from practice. What do i do?

Xbox does have parental control features to limit how much one can use it, and for what purposes.  take the time to learn how to navigate it, set up a parent account, and limit how much he plays on it.  when he can be more responsible and do other constructive stuff, you can give him more privilege's back.  there are videos on youtube on how to set it up.

You could still make some rules of when he can play xbox and when not too. Or talk with him of making plans of when he can play.

I don't think there's a need to get rid of video games to kids. My nephews and nieces they know and understand when to not play too much.

But this is just a suggestion. You are a parent and do what makes you feel right to too for your kids though.

You are his PARENT, not his friend.

    Act like it
