Why do filipina lie and gossip so much? Why are filipina women so plastic? British citizen living in Philippines plastic filipina in_laws?

I have been living in the Philippines for a year now ...I am a british citizen married to a amazing filipina... currently me and my wife has built a resort style house bear her parents place and ever sence i have lived here my wife's brothers wife has made up many lies about me and has spread so much lying gossip to all the neighbors here ...I have been the one supporting the whole family I have completely rebuilt the parents house and I have taken care of my wife's family. But ever sence i started building me and my wife house my wife sister in-law has started lying on me and trying to turn the while neighborhood against me ...I have helped the poor neighbors and single mothers with food cloths and toys for their babies I have given my whole heart to help poor filipinos I have done everything in my power to do good to others as jesus has commanded but I am so sad and discouraged to the point that I no longer even go out side or even talk to people ...I use to be so out going and I enjoyed talking to everyone but now I stay inside and lately so much anger has built up inside my heart because this evil women from day one has done everything in her power to destroy me and be little me ....any ideas how I can stop this women ? She is pure evil smile in your face and talk about you behind your back ....I'm so tired of it ......she has literally turned the whole neighborhood against me and God knows that I have gave my all to bless and help filipinos in need God where are you 😢
