Have you ever been injured by new running shoes?

I started wearing these new Nike Renew running shoes and my knees are so painful after a run I can barely walk let alone stand up. I've been running daily for 10 years and never had these pain. So is it possible the new shoes are causing this?

Yes, it's absolutely possible the shoes are the culprit or contributing to your pain. That's why it's best to be fitted for running shoes at a running store, by someone who will check your gait, and watch you walk/jog with and without shoes on, to determine what type of shoe you may need. Then they will present you with various options to try, so you can see which fits best. Many stores will even have a treadmill available, for you to run a bit and see how they feel (before you spend a lot of money) on shoes you may not be able to return once the bottoms have become soiled.
