DeNiro both as an actor and person.

DeNiro plays the creep psycho to perfection. Likely because that's part of his core personality, he's able to internally relate to the twisted character and therefor consistently plays him to perfection.
Liotta is certainly the more appealing of the two, and not just physically. His overall persona portrays a more humane character to DeNiro's ugly savage, and because of this, Liotta is more versatile.

DeNiro is one of our greatest living cinema actors . . . . but it's becoming harder and harder to overlook his radical views, insane public rants and sinful lifestyle.
