Yes. It is my favorite place to go. There are still parts of Colorado I have not seen. There are many things to do and see around Colorado Springs. I have never been to Denver except to change planes.

Colorado is a great place for a vacation. There's a a lot to see and do here under normal circumstances. There are interesting museums, sports and lots of outdoor activities year round. The wildlife is spectacular.

Colorado is a fantastic place for a vacation if you want what is there. The state has a lot of variety, so chances are most people could have a great time.
In the east is a lot of flat farmland, which is not everyone's idea of a good view, but I always thought it was beautiful when I drove through. And if you have the chance to drive from east to west (which is, of course, very mountainous), you get a great sense of how varied the state is.
Denver is slightly northeast of the center of the state, and it's a good city to visit with an impressive art museum and all the other sorts of things you'd expect in a major metropolitan area. Boulder, not far from there, is also fun to visit.
But most people go to Colorado for the mountains in the west. If you like to ski or snowboard, then you'll want to go in the winter and find yourself in one of the fairly small ski towns like Vail or Telluride (my favorite). If you go in the late spring, summer, or early fall, you can get in some incredible hiking in some of the most beautiful country in the United States.
It depends upon how much time you have. It would be easy to spend a month in Colorado in the warmer months checking out the smaller towns, hiking, camping, and in general having a great time. The problem with a short (three or five day) vacation is that it would be so hard to choose where to go.
Hope this helps!
