Need help choosing where to move?

So I'm 27F, no kids no pets. I already have two areas in mind - Jersey City and Brooklyn. I've visited both areas multiple times, but I cannot decide which one to choose! So that's why I'm asking if there's anything else I should consider, besides the bottom list:

Jersey City:

- Beautiful area - has a promenade, tiny beach, cleaner, not a lot of crowds

- Also has a light rail train that goes to other parts of NJ, plus a train that goes straight into Manhattan. However, it seems like that train is not reliable and sometimes shuts down on the weekends. I don't own a car.

- Apartments are MUCH bigger for a cheaper price. This helps because I work from home.

- But there's absolutely nothing to do in the area besides eat and drink. I'd have to rely on Manhattan for entertainment but as I said before, the train there isn't reliable. Plus Manhattan is expensive. As a result, I'm scared I'll feel very lonely here.

- Not very diverse. Jersey City overall is known to be very diverse, but not the downtown area (where I plan on living)

Brooklyn:

- The apartment I found is in a beautiful, serene area.

- But, the apartment is much smaller (480 sq ft), though it has a ton of amenities + coworking space

- EVERY thing is within walking distance (grocery, entertainment, gym, etc)

- And almost every single train line is nearby as well

- About $300 from my monthly salary would go towards the NYC local tax, which really sucks

- Much more diverse, which I like

- Brooklyn is more dirtier

    Brooklyn (my opinion)

I'm not sure why these are your only 2 options.  It seems like Jersey City is not really your kind of place, except for the value you get there.  But you might find something more suited to your overall desires that is more in your budget than Brooklyn in (which sounds like mostly what you want, aside from cost and apartment size).

The main consideration should be your employment opportunities.  If you're going to a physical place to work, I'd pick the location with the shorter/easier commute.
