Please help with algebra question, urgent ?

This is all the information that I have been given.

rotchm - “The width of the above regatta lake consists of nine 13.5 metre lanes. Each of the sloped lanes measures 7 metres.

Determine the width of the lake floor.

    The diagram is supposed to be symmetric with the 5 m depth line a distance d from the top left or right vertices. d^2 + 5^2 = 7^2, so d = √(24)

    Lake floor width is 13.5 - 2√(24). You finish that.

    It is hard to read your writing. Write on the figure the corresponding values given. The "5m" is already there.
