In the concentric circles below, the smaller circle has a radius of

16 and the length of tangent 𝐴𝐵̅̅̅̅ is 60. Find the radius of the larger

circle.

    radius of smaller, r = OC = OD = OE = 16

    radius of larger, R = OA = OB

    16² + 30² = R²

    R = √(16² + 30²) = 34
