Will a stain resistant white work really stay any cleaner or easier to clean ?

I am a security guard.  As part of my uniform I wear a white dress shirt .  The issue is the collar stains easily with dirt, grime and sweat.  I am told the shirts are made out of cheap material.  To myself I take pride in my work and appearance.  I would rather come out of pocket buy ten quality shirts and look more presentable. They may or not be tax deductible which I do not care , I want to look good.

My sister has worn white shirts from Talbots that are stain resistant and wrinkle resistant.  Yes they do work. It is amazing.

Land’s End make men’s dress shirts that are stain resistant. JCPenney’s, Jos.A Banks.

My husband gets his dress shirts at Jos. A Banks. The Traveler Collection.

He travels so it can be a full week before his shirts get washed.  These shirts wash up beautifully. Hang to dry, no wrinkles. And stain do come out easier.

How you wash so important too. Do not scrub collars and cuffs. You wear out the fabric. It becomes rough and will catch more dirt and sweat. Do treat your collars and cuffs before washing.  A pre treat with a product like Shout. Or I like to put a bit of Tide directly on the collar and cuffs.

Also wash your dress shirts by themselves.

Keep your receipts and take them back if they don’t perform as expected.

Just scrub the collars (&Cuffs) of the shirt with hand soap and a nailbrush before washing as normal.
