Why Does The Media Sympathize With The Chinese?

I thought Christians were claiming that the virus was a fake, just a case of the sniffles that Big Government was using to control you.

All 1,4 billion of them?

Using that logic, any nuclear disaster is American's fault.

The BBC News has recently been condemned by the Chinese government after it didn't allow a Chinese broadcasting company to continue broadcasting in Britain. Then the BBC did documentary exposures of "re-education" camps in China where thousands of Muslims and Christians from the north-west of China are forced into. Then the BBC did more news coverage of the clamp-down in Hong Kong.

This means its lack of sympathy with the Chinese has brought down the wrath of that government on its head. The BBC is being accused of "fake news" and much worse. This has nothing to do with Coronavirus or the media "spreading this plague upon God's Chosen". On the contrary, "Judgment begins with the household of God" we are told (1 Peter 4:17), and that's why church-people are just as susceptible to the ravages of Coronavirus as everybody else, for the Church is largely reprehensible before God for not being what it should be at this critical time in history, shortly before Jesus returns.
