What is an International plan on a cell phone?

Is that the long distance plan? I have no clue.

    It's either a plan to call and text internationally from your home country or it's a plan that lets your use your phone internationally while using your existing account.  You have to read the specifics.

    long distance = (example) San Fran to New York

    international = (example) New York to Mexico City

    the clue is in the words

    inter = between & national = nations/countries

    long = extended & Distance = space between
