Would what happened to me in the early 90s in Toronto be abuse today?

1. was 6, sat on glass table and broke. Mom thought I jumped and spanked me with her belt, 10 whacks

2. Mom let me out to wait for dad in front house. Wondered away, spent about 1.5 hours looking for me. Dad spanked me with slippers told me to stand in corner.

3. Grade 1, friend stole markers from teacher, I was following him. Did not touch the markers. Teacher told dad that I also stole, he wacked me like 10 times on my butt with a thin switch (stick)

4. Grade 3 time out, saw swear word written on desk so I recopied them. Told dad I wrote on a paper that I discarded he said well don't do it again, etc. Next day teacher saw sent me home. I started walking towards my room he was waiting with belt. I sat down, started crying and hes like get into the room or I will start beating you rigth here. Told me to lie on bed and smacked me like 10 times or so. I put my hand there because it was painful and he told me to "take my hand away or he will beat my hands red" yelling that I am getting spanked because I lied.

5. Joked about punching my teacher in the face and kicking him in the groin and he was like whatever you do to teacher, I will do the same thing to you

6. Slapped across the face a couple of times for back-talking, swearing, etc.

7. Didnt want to practice piano. Picked up a rock, walked into dads room and threatened to through it at him. He said if I did I would be in the hospital because he would beat me so bad.

Happened between ages 6 and 10 in Toronto.

Orthodox Christian three hand signs are different than Buddhist mudras. Ecumenism = 263 heresies; each heresy leads to hell. Orthodoxy = the only true faith; Roman Catholics tried one cup - one spoon ritual and got sick with Bubonic plague; if heresy enters Orthodox monastery then monks/nuns will get sick with flu/tuberculosis (for instance); Orthodox churches who closed for COVID or had disposable cups/spoons or dipped spoon into alcohol are no longer brides of Christ (now they serve Satan and honor Satan's new COVID religion). Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good. SSN is written as a barcode/QRcode; then it's put into a chip; chip is put into vaccine; chipped people are influenced (by super computers) to receive grey plastic card World Passport with no name on it (but when they stretch their hands to get it, gov't clerk presses secret button to administer the unforgivable green 666 tattoo by isotope rays). If you reject mark of the beast (by hiding within a 10-15 people group according to saints Gabriel Urgebadze and Seraphim of Sarov), then your direct ancestors go to heaven (according to saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov from Ural); forgive me.

Source(s): Documents are from Satan; burn all the documents that you can find. Electronics will be used to track you. Even old broken unplugged 1970 TV set will show the evil flying antichrist using Tesla's ether. Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good; always pray the Jesus prayer or to saints who help right away (like saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov according to whom if you reject mark of the beast, then your direct ancestors go to heaven); forgive me.

No.  All legitimate punishments then, and they still would be considered so today.

I’m guessing your parents meant well. That’s how people raised kids when they were young, and that’s what they knew. I think smacking a little kid with a belt is a bit much, but they did it because they wanted you to learn a lesson. I don’t think young kids should get more than a spank on the butt, and older kids maybe a slap across the face (unless they hit their parents. Then they can get what’s coming to them). I don’t think punishments should leave bruises. There’s other ways to discipline kids. Privileges can be taken away, extra chores given, etc. Corporal punishment should only be used in extreme circumstances, and never out of anger. When it’s done out of anger, it’s just abuse. It must be done in a way that’s controlled and teaching a lesson. Some people might consider that abuse now, but that’s how a lot of people discipline their kids. I think it’s a bit excessive, but not abuse. It sounds like your parents tried to raise you to be respectful and honest.

Probably.  But sounds to me like you had good parents.  I bet you don't lie, steal and swear now.

I don't really believe in slapping or using a belt.  The Biblical example is "a rod," which I take to mean something like a ping pong paddle.  A few whacks on the backside,  when problems first start, maybe age 2 or 3, may be all that's needed to get a kid going in the right direction.
