If you have a medical condition and are seeing a psych for anger management?
Is that something you can tell an employer and they would understand if a coworker tells on u when you made a gesture that you would throw a keyboard at the computer but didn’t? I must have some rights... I have this condition because I have TRAUMA yet everybody is always making me out to be the bad guy and I’m sick of it
It is a medical condition and I would rather not do these gestures and it is difficult to control yet it is always me that’s the bad guy! Me me me
Well I’m doing the best that I can
I’m upset that she made a scene and focusing on something I did that I am not proud of
See I am writing two days a later and when I posted this I forgot to take my meds so if the employer fired me I would have no money to pay my bills but now thanks to HER they are going to watch me like a hawk at work
It’s not fair ........ I wish people would be more understanding WHy people do things
Sorry I posted this 4?days ago

in the US, you are supposedly entitled to reasonable accommodations for a disability under ADA. 1st of, the law is not enforced unless you are so rich you don't need a job and can afford a lawyer...
but making any threatening gestures or statements does not have to be accommodated.

No. You are in therapy in order to learn how to live in society, not to try to use it as a lame excuse. They may see your efforts in bettering yourself as positive, but ultimately you are always responsible for your behavior.

If you are violent at work, or destroying property, or threatening coworkers, they have the right to see the back of you.
No matter your medical condition, you do not get todo those things to other people, and you need to keep yourself under control at work and around other people.
