Why is long John silver a villain in treasure Island ?

    I would'nt call him a villain, more of a loveable 'rogue'.

    Because he wasn't trustworthy and could be cruel and brutal in his search for the treasure.

    Or read "Treasure Island".  It's a good tale, and since you have the time to joke instead of work, why not use it usefully.
