If you like your coffee or soup boiling hot, can you tell me why?

How can it be tasty or good to burn your mouth while eating? You are giving yourself a painful physical injury, aren't you?

They probably blow on it a little before sipping it, but I always make my drinks lukewarm and no more.

Coffee is supposed to be 94C or under or you burn the grounds. That's why your coffee tastes bad people. It's still hot to drink, but under boiling.

I don't like coffee or soup BOILING hot, so that they blister my mouth, but I like them pretty hot. I'm just not into lukewarm coffee or soup.

You're over thinking the situation. I like my coffee and soup hot because I know it's fully cooked. I let it steam off for a few minutes before I either drink or eat it.

Exactly. I hated hot drinks for a good decade. But it turns out my body needs them. Hot teas. Hot clear soups. 🥴

Its not the taste that counts. Its the overall effect.
