About cleaning my cell phone?

During this Covid 19, I’ve been using hand sanitizers or disinfect wipes to clean my phone. Especially from coming home from errands or work. But somehow my phone got frozen then my sister fixed it for me. She said don’t clean it anymore. When I was cleaning it I also cleaned the hole part where u hook the charger in can that be the causes of it being frozen?

Update:

As I was saying about hand sanitizer, I meant hand sanitizer wipes.

Stop cleaning your phone with wet hand sanitizer wipes.

If you keep your hands sanitized, there IS NO NEED to subject your phone to moisture.

Don't place your phone down on public surfaces like counter tops, check-out areas, tables and such.

You should clean your phone.  The events are unrelated. Phones lock up often for unexplained reasons.  They're computers. They glitch.

Your phone is germier than a toilet seat.  Smartphones and computer keyboards are the dirtiest things in your house.  So you're right to want to keep it clean.

But not with hand sanitizer.  Hand sanitizer is alcohol and hand lotion, and when the alcohol evaporates it leaves the lotion behind.  Rubbing alcohol is much better because it doesn't have anything in it that doesn't evaporate.  Put it on a paper towel and rub it all over the outside surface of the phone, but not wet enough for it to dribble into cracks and connectors.

No, but you can remove the special coating on the screen...yeah don't be globbing liquid hand sanitizer on your phone. They cost a lot, so take care of it. Get electronic safe cleaning wipes. The truth is if your washing your hands regularly, there is no need to clean your phone off all the time. Relax a little 👌 you will be fine

I wouldn't squirt any liquid at any part of your phone. But if you want to wipe it with a cleaning cloth that should be okay.
