is very rare occasional ringing in ears normal?

Like once a year or every couple of years i'll get ringing in one of my ears for a minute but it goes away almost as quickly as it comes on.

is that normal? should i be concerned? its not loud ringing its more like my hearing gets quieter in one of my ears and i get a weird feeling and hear a quiet ringing noise in one ear.

My ears ring continually.  I wish i had your problem!  I don't know if you ought to be concerned.  See a doctor?

Look up "tinnitus".  It only affects some people but it's not uncommon.
