Have you ever been truly hungry?

Yes, it really sucks. 

I have thought I have been, but putting real hunger in context of someone who has truly been or is starving, no. I have never been truly hungry.

The longest I have been without food is 30 hours and on three separate occasions.  Back in the 90s we did "30 hour famine" for youth group.  It entailed with many hours of video games and movies so the time flew by pretty quickly.

Yes, I have endured several 4 day fasts with only water for ceremonial reasons when I was a young buck. I also went 3 days with little to eat on the pacific crest trail after a bear figured out how get my food supply out of the tree I had it in.

I was forced to eat two days out of 17 days due to religious beliefs being threatened to be Dishonored, so I just didn't eat so that I could wait to honor what I believe in. What's strange about it is that after the     I wasn't hungry at all I think it just turns off when people are maybe when you're really stubborn it just turns off and you go into super human god mode or something

i could use a taco right about now........
