About getting the Covid shots?

The way senior citizens, healthcare workers, firefighters, & law enforcements has been eligible to be vaccinated when can people in their 40s like myself and retail workers like myself be eligible for it? I’ve tried to go online to a couple of drug stores and the county I live in to schedule for it. They asked for my age or birthday and my occupation. One said something “sorry not eligible yet”. Others have texted to say “thank you for your intererest we will let u know”. I’m devastated to be vaccinated because I want to get out of this anxiety and go back to work. I’ve been out on leave of absence for nearly 8 months.

claim eligibility due to severe cognitive impairment...seriously, laws vary by state, and info on eligibility is easily available online.

so you aren't working, therefore you would not be eligible under the essential worker category.. how are you not fired?

Each state may vary a bit but on average, vaccines for healthy people age 18-50 will be available in may or June.

It varies from state-to-state. There's been a shortage of vaccine, so as soon as they can work their way down to you and get everyone above you done, then they'll be on to you. Everyone is still at 65+ except for Connecticut that just announced they're going to 55+. The general consensus is that everyone that wants a vaccine will be able to get one my May or June.

i don't think getting vax'd makes a difference since people are vax'd and still have to wear their face diaper. It's counterproductive.
