Why do some vegetarians still eat fish?
Fish get tortured more than other meat animals, they aren't even killed quickly. They get deprived of oxygen/water and then put into a box filled with ice, where their sufferage will continue and they very slowly die. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat fish (I just find the taste disgusting). I just wanted to ask this cause I really don't understand it
Okay, pescatarians. But that still doesn't answer my question. Why do they do it when fish get tortured much worse than other animals?

It's easier not to empathize with something that isn't a mammal.
Obviously you're right though. Fish feel pain and suffer. Our treatment of fish is every bit as indefensible and horrific of that of the other sentient beings we brutalize.

Fish aren't cute.

Seafood is an easy way to get the nutrients that a vegetarian needs when they give up meat products. But, I am with you, even though I am from Atlantic Canada, I ABSOLUTELY HATE seafood.

They don't. A person who eats fish isn't a “vegetarian”.

You're talking about pescatarians. They're only semi-vegetarian. Anyways, it's not wrong to eat meat. To say that "eating meat is sinful" is a sin, because it is a lie.
The Bible talks about those who would forbid people to eat meat (in the last days): According to the Bible, the people who command other people to abstain from eating meat have given heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
