Hi Mark,
“Think And Grow Rich” in and of itself is not effective. It's what you do with the knowledge that counts. It has sold millions of copies and made countless millionaires, but not every person who reads the book becomes wealthy.

Of course it does, IF you do it. It is like any workshop or great plan. Most people can get results if they follow the plan, but never follow the plan fully. They give up when certain obstacles appear. And it requires plenty of action fyi. Don't judge the book by the title lol. The thinking part is just the beginning.

Think before you spend on frivolity. Think about the education and skills you need to get that will pay you in the long run.... good career choices. A job makes sense only in the context of a career. Think before you act... don't blame others, but do better yourself by learning (education) and be a better person by doing good for others.
The book will not make you rich, but could make you richer, but reading it will enrich your thought process. The book is outdated for modern times, but most of the principles still apply today.

If you mean the book, I've never read it, but it is a classic, and should be available in your public library. You can check it out free, and decide for yourself. It appears to have withstood the test of time, so at least some of the concepts should be valid.
One book that I have read is "The Richest Man in Babylon," and I will attest that the concepts are sound. Understand that it's not a way to get rich quick, just basic preparation to earn well, save regularly, and invest wisely.

Work, save, invest certainly does, over the long term.

No. But 'think lucky and you'll be lucky' can work.
