If ON = 5x- 7, LM= 4x+8, NM= x-6, and OL = Sy-5, How would I find the values of x and y for which LMNO must be a parallelogram?

Update:

     If ON = 5x - 7, LM = 4x + 8, NM = y - 6, and OL = 5y - 5,

     for which LMNO must be a parallelogram?

     The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal.

     ON = LM and OL = NM

     5x - 7 = 4x + 8

     x = 15

     5y - 5 = y - 6

     y = -1/4

    Is there a typo for the length of OL ??

    You have OL = Sy-5

    Did you mean OL = 5Y-5 OR OL = 2y-5 ???
