Someone said a passenger mirror for a 2016 Jeep Renegade could be fixed or replaced for $20. Is he full of it?

I've replaced many broken mirror assemblies with used mirrors from an auto recycler and the cheapest one was $75. I've paid up to $175for mirrors that were heated, had a turn signal on them and and lane deviation. Some mirrors have auto fold functions too. labor is 1.5 to 2 hours. $20 is a joke!

Any monkey with a computer can find out by searching the internert lazybones. EPIC FAIL.

That depends on what's wrong with the mirror is it just the glass part that's broke? You can get a glue on mirror that fits right over the broken one for about $9. That works perfectly if it's just the glass that got broken.

If the shell is damaged and the electronic crap doesn't work. Go on eBay. There's a whole mirror assembly for $75. There's a couple of bolts that hold it in the metal after you remove those bolts from inside the car. You disconnect the wiring harness. Put the new bolts in plug the harness in it takes every bit of 10 minutes to do this replacing the entire mirror. If you go to a U-Pull-It place junkyard you can probably get the mirror for 15 or $20.

But you have to find a U-Pull-It place and then you have to go take it off yourself and install it yourself. me I'm just going to go on eBay and get the whole mirror ready to be installed and install it if the shell of the mirror is damaged
