is there a way to search your own answers?

Nope Yahoo does not have any Features that let you search for your own Answers 

Not in the way you are thinking and not at all in the mobile version. You can open up your answers and scroll down the page many screens and then do a "find on this page". You could do a google search using a unique user name (Matt will not work). It would take a few days as changing your user name takes that long.
