T or F: Is the 10th anniversary of the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami are about to be held on March 11, 2021?

It depends on what you mean. It's certain that it's been 10 years since the 2011 earthquake. And there will be memorial ceremonies for the victims across Japan. But it's not something to celebrate.

Most likely . Billions of dollars in damages were done , and some 20,000 people died .

 Just yesterday they had a 7.1 quake that injured some 146 people .

This was near the Fukushima area .

Another big one struck the area just last night. I was out on the streets in Tokyo when it did and still it felt like a pretty big one.  As far as your question I think the government will hold a ceremony on the day, just like they have done every year since 2012. Why not.
