Do atheists celebrate Valentines day?

Some people will do anything for free chocolate.

Let me guess. Christians want to claim another secular holiday as their own. Just like Thanksgiving and Halloween. 

I think both things are rubbish.

I’ve never in my life met someone who genuinely celebrated Valentine’s Day as a religious holiday. It’s essentially secular now. Atheists participate in it all the time :) 

I would not be opposed to it if I had a significant other.

I show my partner I love her every day, I don't need a Hallmark holiday to remind me to do that.
