If people are desperate for stimulus payments, then why are used classified items overpriced right now?

Good luck finding a good deal on anything. People aren't desperate for money at all right now, we don't need a stimulus check. I've search several different types of items over the last year, and many aren't even 10% less than new. MANY are asking more than retail for a used item. How could this be of people need money to pay bills?

    I think it's being filtered by cancel culture. They want to maintain integrity of big business, so they are making it so the good deals don't show up for you as much.
