I told my boss he is racist for saying ppl should only come to US legally. Was I right or wrong?
My boss and I got in heated argument I said I think anyone should come into US openly and freely whenever they want and no matter who they are but my boss said they should legally only with documents. I got mad and say to him he is racist for thinking that. Was I right to say he is racist and standing for truth and what’s right?

I think racism has been used to describe things that have nothing to do with racism. An example is a difference of opinion such as what you described. To be racist, he has to show prejudice against the people coming into the US, or show that he is superior to the people crossing the borders. Based on what you described, he was backing the law that is in place. That is not racist. If he was racist he would not want anybody coming over the borders but he didn’t say that :)

Pretty much EVERY other country has immigration laws in place as well.
Yes, only those who can enter LEGALLY should be allowed. It isn't a free for all
The policy is NOT racist either. Anyone who wants to enter here must do it legally, regardless of their race, heritage or national origin. It's not a law that only applies to one demographic.

The procedures were set many years ago regarding immigration to the U.S. For those that violate the immigration laws, they are in violation of our laws and, as such, are criminals. Your boss is absolutely correct in that they can only come in with documents. We've never had an open border and it would be detrimental to our security if that occured. You were wrong to call him racist and you didn't stand for truth and what's right.

You are 100% correct. The only people who have a totally legal right to be here are the Native Americans. The white man came and illegally stole their lands, and African Americans were dragged here against their will.

They SHOULD try to come here legally, it's possible with work visas. Or wanting an education here. But if they do come here illegally they should not be classified as criminals. I wouldn't even say coming here ILLEGALLY because that makes them sound like criminals but simply with no proof? It's for their safety, you know how many people die, or get kidnapped. With no proof of them crossing, theirs nothing that can be done to even know they were here. I agree they should be able to cross whenever they want but I also agree that it's better if they have documents that allow them to. Assuming he's racist was your error, he didn't disagree completely and say they're not allowed here. But theirs a process

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is nota race issue, it is a LEGAL One.
Illegal immigrants, under the Biden administration, are said to be entitled to"FREE" healthcare; " FREE" education and other government hand outs. WHERE do you think the money to pay forallof those "FREE" benefits comes from? THE TAX PAYERS! Yes, that is right. Taxes WILL HAVE to INCREASE to support all of the illegal immigrants.
This is not difficult to comprehend.

you were wrong for that in all aspects! everyone should legally and have legal documents in order to come here, for there safety! what if they illegally came to the states, or went somewhere else and got kidnapped or died? what then?

No, you were wrong and have no IDEA what racism is. You were standing up for an erroneous belief, not for truth.

Your boss was correct and NOT racist. In the 1980's.............a lot of people, from Viet Nam, were coming to America, however, they could NOT come until they had a Sponsor and could not become U.S. Citizen's until they went through the U.S. Citizenship Process. Every country has their own rules about this. NO one should just come here freely and expect to 'automatically' get what ever.
Between you and your boss............your boss was standing for the truth and was correct.

You were wrong on ALL counts.
1. Stating people should only enter a country legally has ZERO to do with race, and CANNOT be racist.
2. Even if it were racist, you shouldn't have picked a fight.
3. Your BOSS was standing up for the truth. You were FLAT OUT LYING.
