You HAVE TO TAKE COURSES & pass the exams before you are a certified SPARKY. By that time you will LEARN how dangerous it is.

Hi,
Electricians are most often hurt from falls, exposure to toxic materials, electrical burns, and even face increased risks from working in small tight spaces and varying outdoor conditions.

I was an electrician , and I consider than as long as you know precisely what your doing, and do it correct, then its no more dangerous than any other trade. There are far more people end their lives crossing a road, than ever perished by being electrocuted, (even if it was legally intentional).
If you are unable to do a job properly and with care, leave it be for someone who can. Don't dabble.

They might be in for a shock. It’s an electrifying job. On a serious note, you would need to be very careful when being an electrician knowing about health and safety. I’m sure the job can be risky but applying your education and careful hands to the job should make sure the job is done properly and successfully.

With the training they receive the danger is reduced but there's always an element of danger. A regular house electrician's danger level isn't all that high as long as they KNOW what they are doing.
