What is this fixation some people have about criticising overweight people?
An overweight person just minding their own business, yet these people feel they need to say something - why?
You begin so 'open' Jambers, then the knife comes out more and more, the more you write. LMFAO - you've even gone to the trouble of worrying how much fabric overweight people have in their clothes!!!! LOVE the 'NHS concern'. What about athletes/sportspeople/joggers who get injured? Their injuries can get really severe and cost the NHS a lot more than an overweight person. Or because it's done in the pursuit of 'health' - do they get medical attention for free?!! TROLL

Some people will do the same thing to underweight people, very muscular people, or anyone who doesn't fit their standard as "normal" or "healthy". People who criticism others, especially without knowing anything about that person or why they are the way they are, are usually doing it to mask their own insecurities about themselves. People who are self confident (in a healthy way), don't waste time picking on others about their appearance.

They are most likely extremely insecure in themselves so it helps them to criticise other people because they’re pushing the attention onto someone else

People should not be so openly judgemental but there are reasons.
Being over weight is bad for health, so adds stress to the NHS, we all pay for it and being over weight is more often that not about lifestyle choices. It means the overweight person eats more than they need which using up resources in a world where there are starving people. Also then needs more materials for clothing and such.
Most people that were over weight and have lost it know it feels a lot better to lose it.
Larger people are harder to get around on busses and cinemas. Plus its never nice to sit next to someone on a plane that is taking up some of your seat too.
Mocking someone for a disability is not acceptable as disabilities are not reversible or preventable. Being over weight is USUALY just about the persons lifestyle, so reversible and preventable, so their choice to do nothing about it and so less severe to judge them for.
Hope this helps, not justifying it just trying to give the perspective you are asking for.
