Why does my Google Photos say I have no space to free up even though I just waited 12+ hours to back up 14 GB of pics and videos in Photos?
I just waited all this time and it only let me clear 573 mb or something, but before when I checked, one of the maps already had 12 GB to clear up. I think it only shows the backed up files from 1 of the small maps. I deleted cache, rebooted my phone, deleted app data, but nothing has worked :/ what else can I do?
On android btw, if that matters

Photos is BACKED UP to your cloud drive. it is not "Extra Storage", it is a backup, in case something happens to your phone.
if you want extra storage, get an SD Card.
