I'm getting the 600.00 tomorrow in my account..?

But I don't recognize the number it's going to get deposit here?! I had my taxes done by HR block. Does that make a difference here?! Will HR block get it and call me and I'll get it directed into the right account here?!

If you had H&R block deduct their tax prep fees from your refund then they created a shadow account for you at their partner bank. They put that account number on your tax return so that your entire refund went to that account, they deducted the fees you owed and sent the rest of your refund to your regular bank account (or deposited it on your emerald card, or sent you a check).

As a result the IRS now has that "shadow account" on file for your SS#, and that's where they will send your refund.

H&R block knows this and will automatically forward your stimulus money as soon as they receive it.

All the major tax prep firms and software programs use this process if you don't pay them upfront and ask them to deduct their fees from your refund.

I think it goes to the Emerald Card that was used for your regular tax refund back about 9 months ago.  Still have that card?

If you received a call, it is a SCAM.

If you received a text from anyone other than YOUR BANK, it is a scam.

If you received an e-mail from anyone other than YOUR BANK, it is a scam.

If your bank told you anything other than that the payment had ALREADY been received, it is probably a scam operator claiming to be your bank.

When you had your taxes done, did you pay Block or have them take the fees from your refund?  If your SSN is part of the account number you don't recognize, that's what you did and Block will send you a check.
