Larson previously drove a Chevy for CGR, which leased engines from Hendrick. So time to "adapt" will be more with building his relationship with his new crew & car chiefs. As far as money, Hendrick probably got Larson for a bargain as compared to what other drivers with his stats would command given his suspension. Terms of the contract were not disclosed, so its really anyone's guess.
