A question for Global Warming regulars: how did you or are you spending Christmas this year?
Merry Xmas to all.
xx
Everyone got a TU from me so far.
@kswck2: LMBO! TY. I've been comforting the last Unicorn, it's hiding in my shed, but it's a secret!
@David, good observation about ghosted answers, but Darwinist here updated his after giving a movie title, perhaps there is more to it?
David, it finally worked, but I had to post like 4 edits! And I like your nerdy answer.
TY all and may you and your loved ones stay safe.
xx

In the process of moving yet again so all a bit crazy now, home filled with boxes. Spent Christmas with just the "local" family: parents, wife and baby. Got a few parts for my new gaming PC I am building, something I haven't had in years, but had to build one again when I saw the footage for the new MS Flight Simulator.
Also on the ghosting issue I noticed it tends to happen when you edit an answer that contains text which can be found elsewhere on the internet. So a title of a paper, or a book title, or a quote, or a URL...if you include anything like this, and then edit your answer, it is likely to ghost. So if you want to include that kind of content, don't edit your answer after posting.

I have been comforting Seals, knowing the loss of their habitat is human caused.

I attempted to climb this hill but the poor weather meant I had to abandon it, so much for global warming

Going over to my brother and sister-in-law’s house, where we’ll sit outside in the warm sunshine and socially distance.
Darwinist: I don’t really understand the ghosting thing, and how that comes about, but I read your answer on your profile. Personally I really like the book by Daniel Wilks, something like Statistics for Atmospheric Science. It’s an understandable general treatment of statistics. You can probably get a used earlier edition fairly cheaply.

Edit to Dirac; I did answer your books question but it ghosted. Visible on my profile but it disappears if I sign out.

Relatively quietly. Our usual guests are shielding so just myself, my wife and my eldest daughter this year; reading, watching, eating and drinking the presents. We are about to watch that christmas classic, This Is Spinal Tap.
Hope yours is going equally well or better. :-)
