Can you take an old behind the ear hearing aid and?

Make it an inside the hearing aid? The model in looking to rebuild is an older hearing aid here .need one for inside ear. What's something like that cost to do?! I'd like to get rechargeable gearing aids cuz batteries are $$$$ n not last as long as I thought here...

Well, you would need a new custom-made casing, and a completely different and far smaller new set of electronics to fit in that casing, plus a smaller speaker and microphone...

So not a lot from the original could be used; probably nothing.

It would be far simpler and cheaper to "fix it with a new one", to use an old saying.
