Did Jesus Raise Himself From The Dead?

This is important, for if it were God the Father & the Holy Spirit, then, there's Trinity. If Christ raised Himself, there is no Trinity.

Update:

John 2:19 Clearly Christ stated that He has the power to raise Himself from the dead.

This is an argument of doctrine. If He raised Himself, then there's only Christ the Son & God the Father. A two not a three.

Update 2:

Oh, my dear Pearl, it doesn't matter what you believe. Show me what God thinks. Please add to your answer.

Update 3:

Romans 8:11, The Holy Spirit raised Christ. Christ was the Only One that had God's Holy Spirit, the only Begotten Son. God, The Father, raised Christ through the Holy Spirit.

"That like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."  Rom. 6:4.  "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you ..."  Romans 8:11.

UNDERSTAND THAT GOD IS THREE PERSONS IN ONE, WITH ONE INFINITE MIND, NOT THREE SEPARATE MINDS.

JESUS IS THE RESURRECTION HE RESURRECTS ALL, I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE.  FROM JESUS IN THE HOLY BIBLE>>>

JESUS IS GOD, SEE HERE WHERE HE TELLS US MANY TIMES IN THE BIBLE FIRST WHERE HE TELLS PHILLIP HE IS GOD,>>>>

Philip said, 'Lord, show us the Father and then we shall be satisfied.' Jesus said to him,

9 'Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? 'Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father, so how can you say, "Show us the Father"?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? What I say to you I do not speak of my own accord: it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his works.

11 You must believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe it on the evidence of these works.

EXPLANATION OF JESUS SAYING ONLY THE FATHER IS GOOD>>>

I know at glance it seems like Jesus is questioning why they call Him good. However, He is agreeing that He is good, but bringing to their attention that this goodness is from the Father and the good they see in Him is because He is light from light, true God from true God.

He was saying that if people recognize that He is good then they should know that He is God. They should recognize that God is the source of goodness, not man. He was raising people's minds to recognize the Messiah.

ALSO, THIS IS PROOF GOD IS A BLESSED TRINITY IN GODS OWN WORDS JESUS TELLS YOU HE IS GOD MANY TIMES, ALSO THE TRINITY IS IN THE SAME BIBLE, GOD SAID, "LET US" MAKE MAN IN "OUR" IMAGE, AND WHEN GOD AT THE TOWER OF BABEL, GOD SAID, let "us" go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other! HENCE HIS TWO MESSAGES THAT GOD IS THE BLESSED TRINITY

BELOW ARE DIFFERENT TIMES JESUS SAYS HE IS "I AM" GOD.

JESUS TOLD THE PHARISEES WHEN THEY SAID TO JESUS, DO YOU PUT YOURSELF ABOVE ABRAHAM AND JESUS SAID, BEFORE ABRAHAM, "I AM" MEANING HE IS GOD

WHEN MOSES ASKED GOD HIS NAME, GOD SAID HIS NAME WAS "I AM"

OTHER TIMES JESUS SAID, "I AM" THE DOOR TO HEAVEN.

"I AM" THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

"I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCH'S

JOHN 17:5 And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.

    John 8:58

Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was made, I am.

    saias (Isaiah) 43:10

You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know, and believe me, and understand that I myself am. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there shall be none.

I WILL GIVE YOU TWO EXAMPLES THEN MORE IN MY LINK. FIRST THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH(JESUS, GOD, MAN) AND DWELT AMONG US. SECOND, WHEN SATAN TEMPTED JESUS, JESUS SAID, YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST. ALSO READ JOHN 14: 1 THRU 12

    You're making no sense.

Being God, Jesus rose from the dead.

Nonsense. Each of the three members of the Trinity is God, therefore each of them is all-knowing and all-powerful. Jesus was not "raised" from the dead. He rose from the dead, after predicting that He would do so, by His own divine power.

    We don't have to guess.

(Acts 2:24) 24 But God resurrected him by releasing him from the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held fast by it.

(Hebrews 5:7) 7 During his life on earth, Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears, to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.

(1 Peter 1:3) 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Twice under inspiration, Peter tells us it was the God and Father of our Lord Jesus, who resurrected Jesus.

Jehovah told the Israelites that obeying and following every law given to Moses would bring life to that person.

Jesus was the only one who actually fulfilled every letter of that law, thus "Jesus earned salvation"

When Jesus died, God was obligated to resurrect Jesus.

Thus because of Jesus faithfulness to his God and Father, in effect 'raised himself' from death.

    According to the Bible:

    - God raised Jesus from the dead

    - the Father raised Jesus from the dead

    - Jesus raised Jesus from the dead

    - (LOOSELY interpreted) the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead

    >> if it were God the Father & the Holy Spirit, then, there's Trinity. If Christ raised Himself, there is no Trinity. <<

    ???

Why would you imagine that to be true?

    Of course

    if Jesus raised himself

that is no reason whatsoever to discount the doctrine of trinity.

    To the contrary

    that only supports the doctrine.

The Trinity is one divine substance:God. In three persons

For example If you were to ask each Person in the Trinity, “Who are you?” each person would answer: “I am the Father;” “I am the Son;” “I am the Holy Spirit.” If you were to ask each Person, “Who are you?” you would get the answer from each Person: “I am God.”

So the answer who raised Jesus: God did, who is Jesus. We say Jesus “rose” from the dead, not that he was “raised” from the dead like Lazarus. Rose means under their own power
