Do you use the safety deposit boxes at hotels when on tropical vacations?

I heard that medications go missing along with money and jewelleries. I would use them cos that would make me paranoid if my medication went missing from my hotel room. I have all over body skin infections, and I wonder what on earth I'm gonna use if my homeopathic meds and cream go missing.

On ANY vacation, I will use the room safe deposit box for my passport and credit cards. If medications go missing, my guess is that they are tranquilizers, not homeopathic med. Anyway, there are pharmacies in most places that will sell you stuff that's prescription in the US.

No, but I don't take along anything like jewelry and never leave money in the room when I'm not in it.

I use the in-room safes if I'll be leaving valuables behind, and not just on "tropical vacations."  I don't use the safe deposit box that some hotels have behind the front desk though.

No one is going to steal your skin cream or homeopathic meds.  If they take drugs, it's something that they can use to get high or something that can sell.  They also look for cash, jewelry, small electronics, and other valuables.  Those are the things you want to be careful with.

Yes I have used them. They are usually rather small.  Anyone breaking in is looking for quick cash items. Cash, credit cards, jewelry. Yes drugs too, but I highly doubt homeopathic remedies are of value to thieves.

Yes,of course I use the safety deposit boxes provided in hotel rooms when available.

Thieves would have no interest at all in your lotions and potions. It is valuables that they are after.
