Nope! The problem with the United States is that it was created by Conservatives under Liberal/Libertarian ideals such as liberty, self rule and self determination. Over time, the contrast between the two things grew bigger and bigger and it continues to do so. The population suffers the consequences of this and, gets more and more divided.
Source(s): The nation was created under a double standard and, as Liberalism developed itself world wide and as Neo-Liberalism became the most successful ideology ever - the other standard got side lined. Fuelling political polarization and dividing the nation even further.
