how can patriotic americans show support to the free people of taiwan, the true republic of china?

You present a very difficult topic to discuss. Keep in mind Taiwan is the home of all that was once good about Chinese Culture. I was very disturbed by the vacating of our support of them. 

During the Obama Administration China raced forward with their decades long efforts to set up Military Power and dominance in the region that would make it almost impossible to resist them when they choose to invade Taiwan. President Trump has done a lot, but far from enough, to reverse that advantage. We know the Democrats will walk away from any efforts to defend Taiwan, or to even slow China's surge toward World Domination.
