What are three of Aretha Franklin's best songs?

Just three? All of them are great. Respect is probably the best. It sounds as good and as relevant today as it did almost 50 years ago. Chain of Fools is a classic but my favorite song and performance is Think as seen in the movie The Blues Brothers. In a film full of stand out performances she tops them all. She proved great performers don't need colorful costumes and glamorous gowns to get the audience's attention, they can do it in whatever they're wearing even if it's a greasy waitress dress and fuzzy slippers

Which ever three you think are best, is best to you. They may not be the best three to someone else. That's an opinionated question.

My all time favorite is That's What I'm Gonna Do. "Call Me" was written because she was downtown NY and saw two lovers parting for the day and one said, Call Me in that lover's way. One of her greats. (You make me feel like) A Natural Woman is surely her greatest song. There are so many. Lifelong fan here......
