If you use alcohol to reduce stress, you are on your way to becoming an addicted alcoholic. Talk with a therapist to learn constructive ways to reduce stress .. or eliminate from your life whatever is causing your stress.

Yup. You are relying on alcohol to take away your stress rather than dealing with it. You can easily slip into alcoholism if you keep this up. Don't look for solutions in a bottle~ deal with it.

Relying on any substance, whether it be alcohol or jelly beans...it means you have no coping skills. You need to learn how to cope.

What happens when things change and get even more stressful? How many drinks will you need to cope then?

    Yes.

Alcohol is a toxin & it stresses our bodies out physiologically.

As soon as we drink it our bodies work like mad to flush it out of our system.

We should be having 4 totally alcohol free days per week.
